At Osaka City Train Station. We’re on our way to Ishikawa which is one of the coldest prefectures in Japan. The place is full of snow currently so we needed to prepare ourselves. We bought boots, mufflers, umbrella and other protective gears for the snow at this station. A tropical person like me don’t know what to expect so it’s better to be ready.

We celebrated the day after Christmas at Osaka City’s most famous spot – Universal Studios. The rain was not very helpful because it was already 8 degrees celsius. Even with these, the place was still crowded because the students are on their winter vacation. It was indeed fun except that my boots got soaked with rain water and it was so hard for me to walk back to our hotel.

My favorite attraction at USJ. I guess I don’t need to explain further why. =) You need to be ready to be wet if you want to experience this attraction. I have to scream many times because the sharks appear unexpectedly everywhere in the place. The best attraction to finish our evening at Universal Studios.

At The World Spa in Osaka. Japanese really love spas and they were able to build this place where they put up all kids of spas all over the world. The place have two zones – Asian and European. During even months, the Asian zone are for women and European Zone are only for men. This arrangement is being switched during odd months. Asian zone has different types of famous spas in Asia like Islam, Bali, Japanese and Persian. For the European zone, we can find Greek, Spanish and Roman spas. I really wanted to try the European spas but unfortunately, December is an even month but I also enjoyed the Asian zone. We spent the night at the World Spa because they also have a sleeping room for both genders.

Osaka people are famous in Japan for being warm and friendly. They also have the same enthusiasm for food like Filipinos. Unlike other Japanese cuisines, the food in Osaka are a mix of everything, in just one bite you can get a jist of all the ingredients.
