A Russian Orthodox Church in Hakodate. We can find several churches in Hakodate built by several Western traders in the early 19th century. Hakodate is one of the few places in Japan where we can find several Christian churches.

Hokke, a famous fish in Hokkaido. This one is salted and dried and it was okay. I bet eating fresh hokke would be better. This was served with rice and seafood miso soup for ¥1,200.

Hakodate City will not let Hokkaido down when it comes to food. This was our lunch when we stayed at Hakodate, seafood donburi composed of kani (crab meat), uni (sea urchin), and salmon roe. This bowl costs ~¥1,500.
