Fascinating huge public library in Ichikawa. Open to all even for foreigners like me. I’m surprised to see that the library was packed with people. It’s almost hard to find a space where you can study. It’s nice to see that Japanese are so diligent regardless of status and age.

Foreigners who will be staying in Japan for more than 3 months should register at the local city hall within 14 days from the date of arrival. Process should not take more than 10 minutes, just bring the residence card and passport.

Japanese curry is much different from other curries in other countries. It is not spicy and it’s usually served with a wide variety of side dishes. It’s Japan’s second national food. Too bad for a foreigner like me it’s not my cup of tea. I wonder how other foreigners in Japan think of it.
