This chicken adobo is also precious. It was great but costs ¥1,600. If I have ¥1,600 yen in Manila I can cook adobo using 4 kilos of chicken. Everything is expensive in Tokyo.

Beef Tongue aka Gyutan is a specialty at Sendai. We dropped off at Sendai station just for this and it was worth it. Rikyu is a famous restaurant at Sendai that serves the best Gyutan. Budget per person is ¥1,600.

This is matcha served during our breakfast at Ginzanso. It’s bitter and usually served with a sweet Japanies cookies.
