I usually buy dried squid for snack here in Japan. My mother in law laughs at me when she sees me eating it because dried squid is usually only eaten with beer. I never thought I can find and eat these fresh small squids. Reminds me of home. I loved this but I’m still hoping I can eat mama’s adobong pusit soon.

Fascinating huge public library in Ichikawa. Open to all even for foreigners like me. I’m surprised to see that the library was packed with people. It’s almost hard to find a space where you can study. It’s nice to see that Japanese are so diligent regardless of status and age.
@, A few stems of edible seaweed costs ¥400. Went to grocery store alone and as expected it took me longer than usual.

A few stems of edible seaweed costs ¥400. Went to grocery store alone and as expected it took me longer than usual. It’s not easy when you have to rely on the pictures in the the food labels because I can’t read Japanese characters.
