Xebio is a one stop place for all your sports needs whatever sports you’re in to. Xebio has many branches all over Japan and this one is in Ginowan. We bought all our tennis equipments here and also our protein powder.

During our one month stay in Ginowan, we lived in this place. We’ve made a contract with Leopalace21 which is one of the very few real estate agents in Japan which offers a monthly lease. One month accommodation in this place costs ~¥80,000. The unit already has basic appliances (IH stove, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV, and AC) when we arrive. There’s also a separate toilet and bath room. Inside the main room which we use as both living room and bedroom are 2 futons, blankets, sheets and a big closet. Today, we’re saying goodbye to this homy place.

An alternative place to play tennis when the weather is not too friendly. Round 1 is an amusent and sports complex which has branches all over Japan. We went here once to play tennis and we paid ¥2,180 per person which includes unlimited use of their sports facilities until 6AM (tennis, table tennis, baseball and softball batting, mini golf course tenpin and duckpin bowling, billiards, archery, badminton/volleyball court, basketball court and mini soccer field). Round 1 in Ginowan is located right beside Convention City mall.

Day 17 Expenses: ¥5,148.00 Ginowan is a very strategic place to stay specially the area near the Okinawa Convention Center. There are several restaurants, a mall with a grocery store and also an amusement park. Most of all it’s near the beach where you can wait for the sunset while drinking Aomori. If you want to eat at restaurants, the average price you’ll spend per person is ¥1,000.

After a long day, we had a dinner at an Izakaya (general term for a place for drinking alcohol). We ordered salmon Chao fan, grilled stingray, pork stew and a sip of Yamagata wine. Total expense for this meal is ¥3,000 ($30).
