New Yorkers are ever energetic. So full of life. I’ve never seen this in other cities we’ve been to.

During our one month stay in Ginowan, we lived in this place. We’ve made a contract with Leopalace21 which is one of the very few real estate agents in Japan which offers a monthly lease. One month accommodation in this place costs ~¥80,000. The unit already has basic appliances (IH stove, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV, and AC) when we arrive. There’s also a separate toilet and bath room. Inside the main room which we use as both living room and bedroom are 2 futons, blankets, sheets and a big closet. Today, we’re saying goodbye to this homy place.

Soki is a specialty of the Okinawan cuisine. I call this Japanese adobo because it looks like adobo but the taste is different. When cooking soki, they usually use the rib part of the pork. Soki is so tender so I’m under the impression that cooking this food takes time.

Udon @ Marugame Seimen. I’ll definitely miss this, my new favorite Japanese food. What I like most at Marugame Seimen is that their kitchen is open, the customers could see how they prepare the udon and also you can choose the tempura topping that you want to eat. The average price we pay when we eat at Marugame Seimen is ¥1,500 for two.
