If our time is limited and if there’s only one place we can go to in Seoul then that would be Avenue of Youth. It’s like a little Myeongdong where you can find shopping stores, several Korean-brand cosmetics shops, and of course Korean restaurants. To reach Avenue of Youth take the Line 1 subway then drop off at Jonggak station. From the station, use exit 4 then go straight until you find the Avenue of Youth sign at the right side.

It’s nice to be back even for just a few hours. Temperature in Seoul is negative 10 degrees but since we really missed this place, nothing could stop us to go out. From Incheon Int’l Airport, we used the express train that goes directly to Seoul Station and paid $7.00 per person. Travel time was around 45 minutes.

An alternative place to play tennis when the weather is not too friendly. Round 1 is an amusent and sports complex which has branches all over Japan. We went here once to play tennis and we paid ¥2,180 per person which includes unlimited use of their sports facilities until 6AM (tennis, table tennis, baseball and softball batting, mini golf course tenpin and duckpin bowling, billiards, archery, badminton/volleyball court, basketball court and mini soccer field). Round 1 in Ginowan is located right beside Convention City mall.
