This is bibimbap with a twist – they put cheese and bulgogi in addition to the usual bibimbap ingredients. Bibimbap is a common food in Korea. This bowl costs ¥1000 ($10).

Now watching KON-TIKI. An adventure film based on a true story. A scientist wanted to prove that the people from Tiki in Polynesia came from Peru as opposed to what people used to believe that they’re from Asia. To prove this he traveled with his friends from Peru to Polynesia using only a raft and so the story goes.

Autumn fever. Leaves are starting to change colors in Kanazawa. Reports say that autumn peak in Kanazawa will be mid-November. It’s one of the best time to visit Kenrukuen Garden. Can’t wait to see it.

I don’t understand why Japanese love to put raw eggs on top of their pasta! That’s one of the things I’m trying hard to like. This plate of carbonara costs ¥1,000.
