Beef Tongue aka Gyutan is a specialty at Sendai. We dropped off at Sendai station just for this and it was worth it. Rikyu is a famous restaurant at Sendai that serves the best Gyutan. Budget per person is ¥1,600.

We want to see the silver mine are at Ginzan Onsen but here’s what we found. We didn’t reach our destination because we were warned that there are bears in the area.

Green view from our room. We stayed at Ginzanso, a Japanese Inn (ryokan in Japanese) at Ginzan Onsen. It’s a really nice place. The staffs were kind and they served ud healthy Japanese tea when we arrived.

Aomori is the biggest producer of apples in Japan. We tried a byproduct of apples, sparkling apple wine. I’m sorry I can not extra pain enough how great it is. This bottle costs only ¥225.00.
